Graphic artist Michael Osborne hand-sketched and then digitally composed the design, which features a stylized burst of colorful flowers arranged in the shape of a heart surrounding the words “Yes, I Do.” In creating the art, Osborne says he wanted to give the stamp “a fun, friendly, and modern personality,” for a contemporary spin on wedding and celebratory correspondence.

The two-ounce stamp is intended to accommodate the heavier weight of an invitation, as well as other mailings such as oversized cards or small gifts that require extra postage. A date of issue has not yet been set.
