Save the Date! New Lighthouses Stamps Will Be Issued July 13

Lighthouses fans (and we know there are a lot of you) celebrate! This year the popular lighthouses series continues with New England Coastal Lighthouses, a set of five Forever® stamps honoring Portland Head (Cape Elizabeth, ME), Portsmouth Harbor (New Castle, NH), Point Judith (Narragansett, RI), New London Harbor (New London, CT), and Boston Harbor (Boston, MA).

NewEnglandLH-Forever-strip5-v3The stamps will be dedicated on Saturday, July 13, at five separate events across New England. Lighthouse experts, community leaders, and USPS officials will all take part in the festivities.

Here’s everything you need to know to attend:

  • Boston Harbor Lighthouse
    191w Atlantic Avenue
    Boston, MA
    (on Rose Kennedy Greenway, between Faneuil Hall and The Boston Harbor Hotel)
  • Portland Head Light
    1000 Shore Road
    Cape Elizabeth, ME
  • Point Judith Lighthouse

  • Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse
    25 Wentworth Road
    New Castle, NH

Each ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., and all of them are free and open to the public. Come join the fun!
