Eid Mubarak!

Today we wish everyone “Eid mubarak! Blessed festival!”

Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting, begins tonight at sundown and lasts to sunset tomorrow. Muslims across the country and around the world will observe the holiday by offering special alms with prayers, feasting, exchanging gifts, and visiting family and friends.

EID2013-Forever-single-BGv1Like other stamps in the Holiday Celebrations series, the Eid stamp is being issued as a Forever® stamp. (Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail® one-ounce rate.) You can find it online at The Postal Store, by calling 800-STAMP24 (800-782-6724), or in a Post Office near you.
